So we had a pretty awsome practice session this past Saturday at Inland Drift: Freestyle Drift Park. Beginner session, from 12pm-4pm drivers really got an understanding and feel for their car. Thanks Mark for helping out and giving them pointers! From 5pm-10pm it got narly! Drivers got to experience the Freestyle layout for the first time! The layout is beginner friendly and challenges the Advanced all at the same time. Drivers compared it to the feel of being at a skate park… if you can relate.

Jeff Abbott came down to shake down his car, before this Saturday for the FD Nationals. Also, Southern Cali local, and newly FD professionally licensed driver, Luke Pakula came to give the freestyle coarse a try. His Slide Assassins team mate Chris Licup was also here getting down is some pretty wicked tandem runs.

And the team of twins Zack and Jake were here ripping it up in there red Drift Day 350z! Bam!

We want to give a special thanks to DAI’s Driving Academy and all of it’s staff, who is always welcomed at Inland Drift. The Dai’s Academy staff was at the gates of Inland Drift bright and early. And, long before the fog was even gone, was prepping the coarse that would be used for the day. DAI himself, flew down from Japan to instruct drivers through the designated coarse. Both beginner and advanced drivers were able to run the track to their full potential. Pro Am winner Charles Ng was also helping DAI by doing some instructing as well. We had a lot of fun this Saturday for the Inland Drift Halloween Drift Bash!! We are very thankful for the turn out, knowing Halloween day offers up a ton of options, we appreciate all the drivers, fans and sponsors for their support. The driver skill that day was extraordinary! And, the fans had a blast, as some one put it, “Everyone and their momma got a prize!” Thanks to Loyal To Your Soil for the official event t-shirts and prizes. Thanks to Drift Life for all the shirts to the fans, also JDM option was giving out DVDs, and hats. Side Ways performance supported the event with a pair of GODSPEED rucas, and free oil changes to the lucky winners. Eddy T. of YouDrift.net got on the mic and along with DJ DUDA and DJ POW, made sure the crowd wasn’t missing a beat. Again thanks to all, the fans, the volunteers, who there’s no way we could have done with out, and sponsors!
